Legal framework

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG, in force since 1 September 2023) and, where applicable to visitors in the European Economic Area, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we collect

When you write to us, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. Server logs from our hosting provider may briefly capture your IP address, user agent, and request timestamps for security and operational purposes. We do not sell, share, or transfer your information to third parties for marketing.

Purpose and legal basis

We process the data above to respond to your enquiry, to deliver and secure the website, and to comply with our legal obligations. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site and corresponding with prospective clients, your consent where you have provided it, and statutory record-keeping duties where they apply.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses [the minimum cookies required for it to function / privacy-respecting analytics such as Plausible / no analytics at all]. We do not run tracking pixels, behavioural advertising, or third-party marketing cookies. The final configuration is confirmed before launch.

Hosting and processors

International transfers

Where personal data is transferred to a country without an adequate level of protection recognised by Switzerland, we rely on Swiss Federal Council adequacy decisions, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with Swiss addenda, or your explicit consent, and we apply additional safeguards where required.

Your rights

Under the revDSG and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of the use of your personal data, withdraw any consent, and object to its processing. Write to contact@rezolviq.net to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB) or, for EEA visitors, the competent national supervisory authority.

Retention

Correspondence is retained for the duration of the relationship and for any statutory record-keeping period that follows. Server logs are kept for [30 / 90] days. Beyond that, data is securely deleted.
